Qualcuno ne avrà già sentito parlare, di World of Goo: è un puzzle games con un forte accento sulla fisica. Fino a poco tempo fa era disponibile “solo” per Mac, Windows, Wii ma da una settimana circa è disponibile anche per Linux sia a 32 che 64 bit. Le principali testate di gaming lo hanno descritto in modo entusiastico, e devo dire che sono d’accordo con loro. One of the biggest problems and most frequent complaints we’ve had with the WordPress.org Plugins Directory is the horrible, horrible search results.
No longer. We’re now using Sphinx (a “free open-source SQL full-text search engine”) to power search on the Plugins Directory both from the website and from within your blog’s admin (Plugins → Add New).
It works much better. There are a few oddities floating around (our fault not sphinx’s) that we’ll be cleaning up shortly, but we’re happy enough with it on the whole to start letting everyone else use it

getdeb.net, a leading provider of new and updated programs for Ubuntu is announcing the start of a gaming repository for Ubuntu. The repository (codenamed "Playbuntu") will provide all games available on getdeb.net in an easy to use repository format - enabling you to receive updates for your favourite game via the Update Manager tool.
The bad news is that Playbuntu is now Playdeb, since Canonical enforced their trademark policy and didn't wish to give us permission nor support. So, apologies for the confusion, but please refer to Playbuntu as Playdeb from now on.
