Come aveva previsto pochi giorni fa P@sco, Nokia ha rilasciato proprio quest'oggi il nuovo firmware per il Nokia N96.
Il telefono si aggiorna così alla versione 12.043 di cui, stranamente, è stato rilasciato changelog.

Nokia ha rilasciato questo pomeriggio un aggiornamento firmware per il suo attuale modello di punta della serie N, l’N96, che passa quindi dalla release 11.101 alla 12.043. Trovate il changelog nell’articolo completo!
Alcuni utenti che l’hanno già provato hanno notato una riduzione della durata della batteria piuttosto considerevole, ma un aumento delle prestazioni degno di nota.
L’aggiornamento è disponibile tramite NSU ed è grande all’incirca 122 MB. Buon update!

La versione 0.7.x di Brasero presente nei repo ufficiali di Ubuntu Hardy ha sempre presentato parecchi bug.
A quanto sembra [nel momento in cui scrivo non ho ancora testato la bontà della nuova versione] con la versione 0.8.1 molti di quei bug sono stati fissati.
