Da normale utente di Gmail Manager , add on per Firefox, mi stavo chiedendo se ci fosse il modo per evitare di caricare il mio povero browser pieno zeppo di estensioni come un asino da soma e di delegare la stessa funzione a qualche comoda applicazione stay resident. Ecco che mi balza all’occhio un’applicazione di mamma Google che mi era passata totalmente indifferente: Gmail Notifier. La limitazione è che, al contrario di Gmail Manager supporta un solo account.

The uzi fire rapid rate of GMail feature releases has slowed a bit, but it hasn't quite stopped. Today, Robby Stein one of Google's Product Marketing Managers, announced the ability to create personal mailing lists with the GMail contact manager.
It comes in handy particular for Web 2.0-style businesses like Mashable, where almost everything we do operates out of the Google suite of tools, or other similar Web 2.0 tools. Being able to send out an email to the "Writer's Department" or "Entire Mashable Crew" is a big time saver, as opposed to plucking out each individual's emails from the address book.

Oggi volevo mostrarvi questa estensione per Firefox che permette di inviare messaggi cifrati e firmati tramite GMail. Questa estensione risulta molto utile nel caso siete dei poveri dipendenti, come me, di gmail e di tutti i suoi vantaggi ma che necessitano di avere un minimo di privacy e sicurezza senza rinunciare alla comodità dell’interfaccia WEB offerta da quest’ultima.
