Possessori di Fonera, oggi vi propongo questa UTILISSIMA GUIDA, che permette di realizzare un wireless bridge tramite l’adozione del custom firmware dd-wrt. Questo praticamente ci permette di sfruttare la Fonera come una scheda wireless da attaccare ad un dispositivo dotato di porta LAN. Settare la Fonera per tale funzione è davvero easy, basterebbe seguire le istruzioni presenti nello schema alla pagine sopracitata.

As many of you already know, Fon is a spanish company that some years ago had the interesting idea of creating a wifi community to share the Internet connection. The idea is quite simple: each "fonero" buy a Fonera (the router sold by Fon), register it on the Fon system and get a username/password. Molte volte può essere necessario collegarsi via ssh alla fonera, continuare a inserire ogni volta la chiave e il nome completo può diventare una inutile perdita di tempo. Per velocizzare l’accesso utilizziamo due strumenti che ssh ci mette a disposizione:
Per quanto riguarda la prima basta aggiungere al file ~/.ssh/config (crearlo in caso non ci sia) le righe:
Host Fonera User root Port 22 HostName IPFONERA
Sostituendo IPFONERA l’ip della fonera.
