Well, no. But, talking about mobile operating systems, I hope that.

Yesterday, March 6, Apple released the official SDK for developing application for the iPhone. Here you can find more information on how to download it (requires a registration), and a lot of documentation.

The programs are written in C or objective-C, with a (seems to be, I need to investigate) webpage-like layout.

You can use Javascript, HTML and othe web languages, and get benefits from the Cocoa touch screen interface, handled by events when talking to a programmer side.

Sylpheed – A very lightweight email client

It’s very frustrating to open everytime gmail applet to check email… even if there are many firefox add-ons to do that (like gmail-notifier).

So it’s a good thing to have a small email client installed.

My choice is SYLPHEED. It’s an email client which consume less than 9 mb in ram…

Annunciati i nuovi Mac

Ecco alcune novità  hardware dei mac che introducono il Macworld2008:

  • Apple annuncerà  il primo notebook compatto basato su display con retro illuminazione a LED, presumibilmente dalla dimensione di 13″. Questo schermo permetterà  ad Apple di estendere la durata della batteria del suo portatile.
  • Apple presenterà  un notebook ultra-sottile in metallo, molto probabilmente dotato anch’esso di uno schermo a LED. Potrebbero fare la loro comparsa anche gli hard disk a stato solido.
  • Nel suo discorso di apertura, Steve Jobs potrebbe annunciare il debutto dei notebook o iMac dotati di schermo touchscreen.
